A decade underfoot
Ten years of rugs. A world of stories.
For ten years, rugs have been at the heart of our work. At Suupia, we believe a thoughtful design can turn a familiar room into a space that feels unmistakably yours.
Small details. Lasting feelings.
Our story begins with a simple idea: the things we bring into our homes should mean something to us. A favorite color, a playful character, or a pattern that brings back a memory can make everyday spaces feel personal.
A decade of working with rugs has taught us to look beyond the pattern. Size, softness, the finish of an edge, and the way a rug fits into daily life all matter. That experience continues to guide the printed rugs and doormats we bring to Suupia.

How a printed rug takes shape.
An overview of the stages involved in creating a printed low-pile rug.
Design & preparation
The artwork is arranged for the chosen rug size, with attention to the layout, proportions, and print placement.
Printing the surface
The design is printed onto the fabric surface. A smooth, low-pile finish carries the pattern without a thick raised or tufted texture.
Cutting & finishing
The rug is cut to size and its edges are finished. The surface and anti-slip dotted backing form a lightweight, flexible rug for indoor spaces.
Checking the details
The print, dimensions, edges, and overall finish are the details to review before a rug is prepared for dispatch.
Packing for the journey
The finished rug is folded or rolled as appropriate, protected for transit, and prepared for its journey to a new home.
Packing for the journey
The final step is a new beginning.
A rug leaves the worktable to become part of everyday life: a welcoming doorway, a cozy nursery, or a living room with a little more character. That is the part of the story we love most.
